Corded Wall Phone -Things You Would Like to Know

Step 2 ñ After the corded wall phone cable has been removed now you need to take out the two screws on the phone jack cover that keep it secured to the wall.  One screw is located on the top part of the jack cover and the other on the bottom.  Make sure that you put these somewhere safe as you don’t want to lose them as you will need them again later.
Step 3 ñ Next you have to take the phone jack cover off this should simply come away from the wall by you gently pulling at it.  After you have removed the cover now wipe the surface of it over with a damp cloth to help get rid of the dust, dirt and debris that has collected on it since it was installed.
Step 4 ñ Now all you have to do so that you can disguise not just the phone jack cover but also the cable from your corded wall phone is to paint them the same color as the wall on which they are mounted.  When painting them make sure that you don’t paint over the connectors situated at each end of the wall phone cable.  However, if the wall where the phone jack is situated have been covered with wall paper use a small piece of the same to wrap around it.  To help it stay in place use a hot glue gun to tack it down on all sides.  Plus don’t forget to make a cut in the paper through which the corded wall phone connector can be put through to connect them together once more.
Step 5 ñ After you have painted or covered the phone jack cover with wall paper now you can put it back where it came from.  This is of course when you will need the screws you put to one side again as they will help to make sure that the cover remains securely in place.
